Here's the answers to some of the questions we get asked the most. But if you can't find what you are looking for, please get in touch.
Do you have a Minimum Order Quantity?
No, you can order just one pie, but the delivery charge of £6 applies to all orders up to £15. Free delivery to the designated postcodes (see below) applies to orders over £15.01.
Can you post the order to us?
Unfortunately at this time we can only offer a local delivery service within the following postcode areas: LA1, selected LA2, LA3, LA4, LA5, LA6, LA7, LA8, LA9 and LA11. If you live outside these postcodes you can use our daily Click & Collect service on Mondays to Fridays 9am to 1pm.
What is your Click & Collect Service?
If you live outside our delivery postcodes you can still buy our pies if you use our Click & Collect service. Just place your order online. Select the Click & Collect option at checkout and we will contact you to arrange a safe collection time. Please note Click & Collect is available on Monday to Fridays only, between 9am and 1pm.
Can you deliver to the rest of the UK or overseas?
No. We can only provide a local delivery service at this time.
What days do you deliver?
We deliver between 4pm and 7pm as follows:

Tuesdays - LA6 plus Bentham
Wednesdays - LA8 and LA9
Thursdays -3 week rotation 1. LA11 2. LA1, LA3 & LA4 3. Caton & Brookhouse, Halton, Hornby, Wennington & Wray and surrounding areas

How much do you charge for delivery?
There is a £6 charge for delivery for all orders up to £15. For orders totaling above £15.01 delivery is free.
Do I need to be in when you deliver?
Because the product we are delivering is frozen there will need to be someone in to accept delivery. All deliveries are made between 4pm and 7pm on the days stated above. If this changes, we will contact you before your delivery is due.
Can you cater for special diets?
At the moment we are offering a limited range of vegetarian and vegan pies. Unfortunately we cannot cater for other allergies or special diets at this time (eg gluten free). We will update this page and send out a newsletter if this changes.
Can I visit you at your kitchen?
Due to Coronavirus, we are currently shut to the public and only offering a delivery service or Click & Collect service. If you use the Click & Collect service you can collect your order from the front of our unit (Unit 8, Lakeland Food Park, Crook Road, Kendal LA8 8QJ), but you will not be able to enter the buidling. However, when restrictions are lifted we look forward to welcoming you to our kitchen at the Lakeland Food Park.
Are you registered with Environmental Health?
Yes, we were recently inspected and have a 5-star hygiene rating
How should I cook the pies?
All our pies can be cooked from frozen. We recommend appropriately 45 to 50 minutes at 180C. If they have defrosted then 30 to 35 minutes. Ovens may vary so just make sure they are golden brown and piping hot all the way through.
How can I contact you?
